This is a realistic Friday-to-Sunday stag itinerary: arrive on Friday afternoon, keep Saturday for the main activity and night out, then leave on Sunday. It covers three calendar days and two nights rather than three full days. If you have booked three nights, use Sunday for golf, a yacht or a slower day and travel home on Monday.
The plan assumes you are staying in Marbella, Puerto Banús, Nueva Andalucía or on the Golden Mile. San Pedro de Alcántara and Cancelada can be cheaper, but the saving needs to be weighed against extra taxi or minibus journeys.
Paintball is the only major Saturday activity. Adding karting, a long lunch and a club to the same day may look manageable when written down, but traffic, showers and late arrivals soon eat into the gaps.
Before choosing the itinerary
Confirm these points before asking everyone to pay:
Arrival and departure times.
The full accommodation address and whether the property accepts stag groups.
How many people will take part in paintball.
Any injuries, mobility restrictions or guests who do not want to play.
The maximum budget for activities, meals and nightlife.
Whether the chosen club will accept the complete all-male party.
Transport to every timed booking and back to the accommodation.
Give venues the real booking details. Describing the trip as a birthday or dividing the party across several reservations to get around a stag policy can leave people refused at the door with no useful backup plan.
Day 1: arrival, Jack's Smokehouse and a flexible night
13:00-16:00: airport transfer and check-in
Pre-book a group vehicle from Málaga Airport and tell the company how many suitcases you will have. The journey to Marbella often takes around 40-60 minutes, although Friday traffic or an address in Cancelada can add time.
Avoid putting paintball, karting or any other prepaid activity on arrival day. Flight delays, baggage and separate arrival times make a fixed start difficult.
Once you reach the property, photograph any existing damage and check the rules on noise, visitors and pool use. Booking a villa does not automatically give the group permission to hold a party there.
17:00-19:00: pool, seafront or local drinks
Stay close to the accommodation for the first couple of hours. Use the pool if the rules allow it, walk along the seafront or have a drink nearby while late arrivals catch up.
If the group has hired a car, agree who is driving and where the vehicle will stay overnight before anyone starts drinking.
20:00: group dinner at Jack's Smokehouse
Jack's Smokehouse is an easy first-night option for a stag group. It is informal, the menu includes burgers, smoked meats and plenty of familiar choices, and the Puerto Banús bars are close by. The website has brunch and set-menu sections, but you should ask for the latest group arrangement rather than assuming a standard package applies.
The restaurant currently lists closing at midnight from Sunday to Thursday and at 00:30 on Friday and Saturday. Leave enough time for dinner if you have arranged entry somewhere later.
When booking, ask about the table area, menu, dietary requirements, deposit, final-number deadline and how payment will be handled. Check any rules on clothing, props and decorations as well. A restaurant that accepts stag parties may still refuse drinking games or explicit accessories.
22:15 onwards: drinks and live music in Puerto Banús
Keep Friday flexible rather than committing everyone to a second full club night:
Start at a marina or cocktail bar that has confirmed it can take the complete party.
Move to Joys Live if the group wants live music. Its website currently lists terrace music from 21:30, indoor music from 23:30 and opening until 03:00.
If people want music and dancing without a major club ticket, try La Habana de Hemingway or another disco bar whose opening and entry conditions have been checked for that night.
You do not need a table at Joys. For reservations, the current minimum spend is one bottle of spirits or champagne for every four guests. Ask how the rule is applied when the number is not divisible by four and what is available for non-drinkers.
Save TIBU, Funky Buddha or another main club for Saturday unless the whole party genuinely wants two late nights. Ending the first evening at sunrise rarely improves the rest of a two-night trip.
Day 2: paintball, recovery time and the main night
09:30-10:15: breakfast and water
Have breakfast before paintball, but avoid a heavy meal immediately before running. Bring water, sunscreen, secure trainers and a change of clothes.
Anyone who is injured, unwell or still drunk should miss the activity. Paintball involves running, crouching, heat and a reasonable chance of bruising.
10:15: transfer to Fuerte de Nagüeles
Travel together to Fuerte de Nagüeles, above the Golden Mile. In normal traffic, the drive is roughly 10-15 minutes from central Marbella, Puerto Banús or Nueva Andalucía. Allow longer for the meeting point and registration, and leave earlier from San Pedro or Cancelada.
A minibus is usually simpler than several taxis for a fixed session. The activity cannot begin properly if half the players are still on their way.
11:00-12:30: paintball
Fuerte de Nagüeles currently publishes an adult price of €20 per person with a minimum group of 12. The package includes a compressed-air marker, mask, protective vest, gloves, clean coverall, 100 paintballs and civil-liability insurance. A further 100 paintballs cost €6.
The operator gives an approximate playing time of one hour to one hour and 15 minutes. Competitive players can get through the first 100 paintballs quickly, so agree in advance whether reloads come from the shared stag fund or are paid for individually.
Before booking, ask about:
Availability and the minimum of 12 paying players.
The game format and whether the field is private to your party.
The total time on site.
Footwear, changing rooms and shower facilities.
Heat, rain and cancellation procedures.
The payment deadline and extra paintball costs.
Injuries or medical conditions that may prevent someone from taking part.
Arrange another plan for anyone with mobility problems, a relevant injury, poor heat tolerance or a strong objection to being hit by paintballs.
12:30-16:00: return, lunch and showers
Go back to the accommodation before lunch rather than arriving somewhere covered in dust and paint. Have a simple meal nearby or at the property, then leave enough time for everyone to shower.
Do not fill this gap with karting. Registration, driving and transport would remove the break the group needs before the main evening.
16:00-19:30: rest and get ready
Keep the late afternoon free. People can sleep, use the pool or watch sport if the property rules allow it. The organiser can use the time to reconfirm dinner, club entry and the pickup point.
If there is a football or rugby match the group wants to see, check the exact fixture, screen, sound and table time with the venue. A bar that normally shows sport may not be showing that particular match.
20:00: pre-club dinner
Choose a different Metro Grupo restaurant for Saturday so the two dinners do not feel the same:
Chow, Puerto Banús: Asian dishes, sushi and cocktails beside the marina. Ask about group menus, pre-orders, allergies, deposits and where the table will be.
Mumtaz, Puerto Banús: Indian food and dishes that are easy to share. Metro Grupo currently states that Mumtaz does not accept reservations in August, so do not base an August itinerary around it unless the restaurant gives you a different arrangement in writing.
Nomad, Nueva Andalucía: A more expensive dinner with live entertainment. The current terms state a €70-per-person minimum spend for reservations from 15 June and a €30-per-person deposit for groups of more than eight. It works when the group wants the dinner show to be a substantial part of the evening, but not when the priority is a quick meal before an early club deadline.
Time dinner around the club booking. Trying to squeeze a long show into the gap before the last entry is likely to make both parts of the night rushed.
23:00: travel to the chosen late venue
Pick the venue by its programme and music, not simply by name:
TIBU: An event-led nightclub in Plaza Antonio Banderas, behind the Puerto Banús marina. Its programme varies by date and can include urban, hip-hop, R&B, Afrobeats, French rap and commercial club nights.
Funky Buddha: A nightclub on Calle Muelle Ribera. The main official page currently lists opening from 01:00 to 06:00 on Thursday and from 01:00 to 07:00 on Friday and Saturday. Its ticket calendar can show additional event nights, so use the time given on the individual listing.
Pangea: A rooftop event venue in Puerto Banús rather than a conventional indoor nightclub. The music changes with the event and may include house, Afro-house, hip-hop or R&B.
FITZ and Bonbonniere: Nightclubs outside the marina area. Momento combines dining with a late-night club and also has its own event programme. These venues only make sense when the chosen date and music suit the group, as they require another journey from Puerto Banús.
Before paying, confirm the ticket or table, minimum age, accepted identification, dress code, last entry, group policy, minimum spend, deposit and cancellation terms. A large all-male party should have written acceptance for the full number. Booking a VIP table does not remove the venue's normal door, dress or behaviour rules.
Day 3: padel or a slow morning, lunch and departure
10:00: checkout and luggage
Ask in advance whether the property can hold luggage after checkout. Returning the keys does not usually include continued use of the pool or terrace.
11:30-13:00: optional padel tournament
With an evening flight, a short padel session at Nueva Alcántara Club in San Pedro can work well on departure day. Several courts can be used at once and a simple tournament can be finished within 90 minutes, unlike a full round of golf.
The club's public booking page does not clearly set out a casual non-member price for this type of group session. Ask for:
The number of courts needed.
Court time and a straightforward tournament format.
Coaching for beginners, if available.
Racket and ball hire.
Footwear and changing facilities.
The total price and payment terms.
The rain policy, as the courts are outdoors.
Padel may not be comfortable for guests with knee, ankle or shoulder problems. If the flight leaves before early evening, remove the session and have a slow breakfast instead.
13:30: final meal
Eat near the stored luggage or on the route to the airport. Cibo is a relaxed Italian option on the Golden Mile, while Jack's is useful if the bags are in Puerto Banús. Check where the luggage will be kept before sitting down.
Avoid a long premium lunch shortly before the transfer. The final meal should be easy to shorten if traffic builds or someone needs to collect a bag.
15:00 onwards: collect luggage and airport transfer
Work backwards from the flight time, allowing for Sunday traffic, loading luggage and airport queues. If guests are on different flights, agree the split transfers before the trip rather than sorting them out on Sunday morning.
Anyone drinking at lunch must not drive. Confirm the driver or transfer before ordering.
Alternatives to paintball
Keep the Saturday schedule broadly the same and swap only the daytime activity.
Karting
Funny Hill in Ojén is competitive without requiring as much running as paintball. Its published eight-, 16- and 24-minute options refer to driving time, not the full visit. Ask for a group race format, the number of available karts, driver restrictions, total time at the venue and the wet-weather policy.
Canyoning
Canyoning near Benahavís is for a fitter group that can swim and is comfortable scrambling through moving water. It will take up more of the day than paintball, so dinner may need to start later. The guide makes the final decision on whether the water conditions are safe.
Epic Yacht Marbella
A private charter with Epic Yacht Marbella is the more relaxed alternative. It suits a social party better than one looking for a competition. The operator publishes different limits for different boats, so confirm the exact vessel, licensed guest capacity, VAT, drinks rules, inclusions and weather terms before paying.
Wet-weather plan
Possible indoor alternatives include escape rooms, virtual reality, bowling, darts or billiards. Check how many people can take part at the same time. A business may be able to accommodate 20 people across a day without having enough equipment or space for all 20 in one session.
How to adapt the itinerary
For a tighter budget
Compare accommodation in San Pedro and Cancelada, adding the cost of every return journey.
Keep paintball as the main paid activity and set a limit for reloads.
Use Jack's for the main meal and choose bars instead of a nightclub table.
Avoid paying for both a premium dinner show and a high club minimum spend.
Compare a minibus quote with the total cost of several taxis.
For fewer than 12 guests
Fuerte de Nagüeles publishes a minimum paintball group of 12. Ask whether you can join another session or choose karting, padel, an indoor competition or a boat within its licensed limit. Do not base the budget on the €20 paintball price unless the minimum is met.
For more than 16 guests
Check how many players can use the paintball field and equipment at once.
Make one proper restaurant booking rather than several unrelated online reservations.
Give the club the full number of men and ask for written acceptance.
Arrange group transport for the activity and late return.
Set an internal payment deadline before the providers' cancellation deadlines.
For a mixed-age or less physical group
Replace paintball with an easy padel session, golf for existing players, a boat or an indoor competition. Keep Friday centred on bars, and choose Joys rather than a major nightclub if budgets and music tastes vary widely.
For three nights
Move padel and the final lunch to Monday. Use Sunday for golf, a private yacht or a slow pool day, but choose one main plan. A full round of golf and a boat on the same day is not realistic.
Booking order
Flights and accommodation that explicitly accepts the stag party.
Airport transfers with enough luggage space.
Paintball or the chosen main activity.
The Saturday nightclub, including written acceptance of the full party.
Saturday dinner timed around the entry deadline.
Jack's and the flexible first-night plan.
Transport for the activity and late return.
Padel, once the departure time is known.
A wet-weather option with enough simultaneous capacity.
