Every restaurant recommended here is operated by Metro Grupo, the team behind this website. The aim is not to claim that one group of venues suits every stag do. It is to explain which restaurant fits a casual large table, a curry, a smarter marina dinner or a higher-spend night with entertainment.

Say that it is a stag booking when enquiring. Give the real headcount, preferred time, food budget, dietary requirements and any plans involving sport, costumes or drinks afterwards. A restaurant that can seat a group does not automatically permit drinking games, explicit props or disruptive behaviour.

A note about live sport

The previous version of this guide led with a dedicated sports bar. That venue is not part of Metro Grupo and has been removed under the new restaurant policy.

If a match is central to the evening, ask the chosen Metro Grupo restaurant to confirm the exact fixture, screen position, sound and table duration. Do not rely on a television being visible or a general promise of sport. If the restaurant cannot confirm the setup, separate the match from dinner rather than making a claim the venue has not published.

Jacks Smokehouse, Puerto Banús

Best for: the strongest all-round large-group meal.

Jacks Smokehouse is particularly suitable for stag groups because the menu is broad, the style is informal and the marina bars are close. Burgers, ribs, pizzas, salads and steaks let guests spend differently without forcing the whole table into a premium set menu.

Metro Grupo's current venue listing says the renovated upper level can hold up to 160 people. That is useful for large bookings, but the restaurant must still confirm the seated layout, table area, menu and terms for the selected date. The official site currently lists opening from 9.30am until midnight Sunday to Thursday and 12.30am on Friday and Saturday.

Limitation: this is comfort food in a busy marina setting, not a quiet steakhouse. Groups wanting a formal dinner should choose another option.

Mumtaz, Puerto Banús

Best for: a curry beside the marina.

Mumtaz has served Indian food in Puerto Banús for more than 30 years. Shared rice, breads and starters make the table easy to organise, while guests can choose their preferred dish and heat level. The marina location keeps the later part of the night simple.

Metro Grupo currently states that Mumtaz does not accept reservations in August. A large stag group travelling then should not turn up expecting one table; choose a venue that will confirm the booking.

Limitation: group terms, capacity and deposits are not presented as one universal public package. Confirm them directly outside the no-reservations period.

Leone Brasserie, Puerto Banús

Best for: a smarter marina dinner without leaving Puerto Banús.

Leone has front-line views, a retractable roof and an international comfort-food menu. It suits a mixed-age group that wants a more polished dinner than Jacks while staying close to the bars afterwards.

Confirm the table location, group menu, deposit and closing time. The retractable roof helps with changing conditions, but a marina terrace can still feel very different depending on the table assigned.

Limitation: the current official description does not guarantee live music, live sport or a private area. Do not promise any of them without written confirmation.

Chow, Puerto Banús

Best for: sushi, Asian dishes and cocktails on the marina front.

Chow offers freshly prepared sushi and Asian food in a lively, modern setting. It gives a stag group an alternative to burgers, curry and steak while keeping the rest of the night within walking distance.

For a larger table, ask whether sharing dishes, a set menu or pre-orders will make service easier. Send allergies early because Asian menus can involve shellfish, sesame, soy and other common allergens.

Limitation: Chow's public description does not publish a standard stag-party package, capacity or deposit. Obtain the terms for the group instead of transferring another Metro Grupo venue's policy.

Cibo, Golden Mile

Best for: a relaxed first-night meal away from the marina crowds.

Cibo serves Italian food on the Golden Mile, including wood-fired pizza, pasta, fish and meat. The range works for mixed tastes and the setting is easier for conversation than a dinner show. Its official site currently lists opening from noon until midnight.

This is a good option when the group is staying in central Marbella or on the Golden Mile and does not want to start both nights in Puerto Banús.

Limitation: onward transport is needed for a Puerto Banús night, and the public site does not give one fixed stag-group capacity or deposit policy.

Nomad, Nueva Andalucía

Best for: a higher-spend main dinner with a show.

Nomad turns dinner into the evening's main event, with musicians, singers, dancers and DJs. Its current schedule lists live dinner shows on Thursday to Sunday from October to April and live performances every night from May to September.

The official terms currently state that groups of more than eight require a €30 per-person prepaid deposit, refundable with at least 48 hours' notice. Reservations from 15 June carry a €70 per-person minimum spend, and groups of more than 12 are asked to contact the restaurant directly.

Limitation: this is not a quick meal before a cheap bar crawl. The group must be comfortable with the published spend, smart dress and a louder entertainment-led atmosphere.

Live music after dinner

Joys Live is a Metro Grupo venue on the Puerto Banús marina front. It is a live music bar rather than another restaurant recommendation. Metro Grupo currently advertises live music from 9pm and stage entertainment later in the evening, but the date-specific programme, opening time and table terms should be reconfirmed.

Nomad is the option when live performance should happen during dinner. Joys works better as a separate stop after Jacks, Mumtaz, Leone or Chow.

Practical booking advice

Book large tables and peak-season Saturdays well ahead.

Identify the booking as a stag group and give the real headcount.

Ask whether the venue requires a set menu, pre-order, deposit or one bill.

Get the final-number deadline and cancellation terms in writing.

Confirm the kitchen closing time, not only the venue closing time.

Send one accurate dietary list and flag serious allergies separately.

Ask before bringing costumes, explicit props, decorations or drinking games.

Reconfirm live entertainment or a requested sports fixture shortly before travelling.
